HABA, Children's Long Handled Garden Rake S7808

Time to do the chores! Your child will be eager to help with the yard work with this colorful, long-handled toy rake. They’ll have fun working alongside parents, grandparents and older brothers and sisters with their own high-quality garden tool. It’s great for use at the beach, too! Rake up the sand in search of pirate treasure.

This children’s garden rake is designed to last, with a plastic handle that won’t break under pressure. The rake is colorfast too, so its vibrant yellow and green hues won’t fade even after years in the sun.
Along with being a fun tool, this long-handled garden rake has other benefits. It encourages outdoor play and gives children the joy of feeling like they are helping out in the yard. A toy rake can inspire imagination, as kids pretend they are tending to their own flower and vegetable garden. It’s also a great way to introduce children to flowers and other plants that might be growing in your yard.
Outdoor garden play also encourages a love of nature. A child can plant a seed, rake the soil over it, water it and watch it grow. In this way, they learn about the importance of being responsible for a living thing; get an early lesson in cause and effect; and have the thrill of seeing their efforts result in a healthy and beautiful plant. This is a great way to build confidence and self-esteem.
