Janod, Sweet Cocoon: Bird House Shape Sorter J04062

Welcome home little birds! Our birdhouse-style wooden shape sorter has been designed for babies aged 18 months and up. By slotting in the different shaped, your little one will develop their dexterity, whilst learning to recognise shapes and colours. This shape-sorting house comes with 8 large wooden slot-in pieces, designed specifically to be grasped by baby’s little hands. To guide them and let them learn at their own pace, the coloured outlines on the houses match the specific colour of the shapes, therefore making it easier to match them. This educational toy offers even more activities: look at the funny bird perched on the roof! Its spring-loaded neck will arouse baby's curiosity and prompt manipulation. Furthermore, your little one can retrieve the pieces that have fallen inside the shape-sorting box in 2 different ways: by opening the roof or using the key stored on the top of the roof to open the side door. A shape-sorting box with a key? What a treat! Another advantage of this early-years toy is the felt-lined bottom of the house, which dampens the sound of falling pieces. Softness is the key word when it comes to this activity toy: natural wood, felt, timeless colours, an adorable bird, etc. This complete and durable babies’ toy promotes manipulation and slotting skills. Making shapes disappear inside the house and then finding them again is something that will always intrigue baby! This early-learning toy is made of FSC™-certified wood and part of our Sweet Cocoon collection.
